yoga-bits is a free yoga learning platform. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We keep data collection minimal and never sell your information.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how players use the app. This is only enabled after you accept the cookie banner. You can decline, and the app works fully without analytics. We track game completions, mode selections, and general engagement — never personal information.
We use Sentry for error tracking, also only enabled with your consent. Sentry captures technical error details (stack traces, browser info) to help us fix bugs. It does not collect personal information or gameplay data.
To prevent leaderboard spam, we generate a random identifier (UUID) stored in your browser's localStorage. This is not device fingerprinting — it's a simple random ID that you can delete by clearing your browser data. It is only sent when you submit a score to the leaderboard.
When you submit a score, your chosen display name, score, level, and mode are stored in our database. This data is publicly visible on the leaderboard. We do not collect email addresses or other personal information.
Your game progress, badges, flashcard data, dark mode preference, and language choice are stored in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your device unless you submit a score to the leaderboard. You can clear it at any time by clearing your browser storage.
