This notice explains what yoga-bits (yoga-bits.com) collects, why, and where it goes. Every statement here was checked against the site's code on October 31, 2026. We don't sell data and don't use advertising networks.
Our own counter keeps daily totals of which kinds of pages are opened, how visitors arrived (for example from a search engine), and what happens on them (for example quiz answers per pose, games started and finished, printouts). It stores no identifier and no IP address.
Where analytics is allowed (see below), your browser also stores the date of your last visit (key yoga-bits-last-visit) so we can count how many visits are return visits. Only a rough range (same day, 1 day, within a week, within a month, longer) is sent, never the date itself. Clearing your browser data removes it.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how the app is used. In the EU/EEA, the UK, Switzerland, Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway it stays off until you accept the cookie banner; elsewhere it runs by default and you can switch it off at any time with Decline. Google Analytics uses cookies. The app works fully without it.
We also use Vercel Web Analytics, from our hosting provider, which counts page views without cookies.
If something breaks, an error report (what went wrong, the page and the browser type) goes to Sentry. For a small share of visits (5%) Sentry also records page-load timing. It follows the same consent rule as analytics: off until you accept in the regions above, on unless you decline elsewhere.
To block abuse, our servers keep a short-lived counter keyed by your IP address for one minute when you use the leaderboard, challenge or sync features. The counter lives in our server's memory and is not stored.
Progress, badges, flashcards and settings (dark mode, language, sound) are saved in your browser's local storage. They leave the device only if you submit a score or sign in to sync.
The Delete My Data button on the app's privacy screen erases everything saved on this device, the leaderboard scores linked to this browser's random code, and, if you're signed in, your synced progress and your sign-in account. Friend challenges keep only the name you typed and can't be matched to you. You can also clear this site's data in your browser settings, or email us for anything else.
